Your Duties

Your first responsibility as a Team Lead Project Management is to motivate and coach your team members to higher performance and better teamwork. You coordinate with team members and translate and communicate organizational goals into team and individual targets. Your mission is to keep the team successful and our clients satisfied, also in the long term.

To achieve these goals, you lead a team of up to ten Project Managers, ensuring that its objectives are achieved within set thresholds of quality, time and budgets. You motivate your team members and help them to develop their skills and competences.

Additionally, you will coordinate events of your own, and organize state of the art event facilities for dynamic clients with high expectations. Traveling and working out of office times are considered part of the position.

Your Qualifications

We are passionate about our clients. Therefore, you should be able to commit yourself 100% to gain the highest service level support possible. Your goal should be to get your team to perform optimal and empower their development and teamwork. You are a strong mediator and coach, responsible for quality management for a team of designated Project Managers by setting targets, giving feedback, mediate discussions and develop quality guidelines. You are also tasked to ensure that subordinate teams are utilized to their full capacity and optimally engaged in project work.

• You have several years’ experience as a project manager key account manager or a comparable position in the event business.
• You can offer several years of experience in leading a team, and know how to manage an outgoing team.
• You have good business management skills and are familiar with the Dutch or international event market.
• You would like to remain involved in the daily business and therefore would like to head up projects personally on a regular basis.
• You master the Dutch and English languages, verbally and written.
• The following competencies describe you very well: Sensitivity, leadership of groups, identification with management, developing employees, verbal expression, cooperation, managing persuasiveness, accountability.
