From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs.

Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.

About the job: 

As the Senior Associate Producer, you’ll be the driving force ensuring visions come to life. In this role, you will supervise all Technical Productions while working closely with the rest of the GEA Live team and your network of (international) vendors. GEA Live works on multiple productions, each in different stages of production, which you will oversee from creation to stage. Your focus will be on perfecting the technical production aspects for each project. In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Operations.

This is a dynamic role for an experienced candidate with hands-on experience in complex technical production processes, scheduling, logistics, creative ideation, and budget management. You have a background in on-site productions but thrive in the pre-production phase, where you will compose and manage each production team that goes on tour.

  • You will take final responsibility both from an operational and a budgetary point of view for the realization of our touring productions on a day to day basis;
  • You will develop scope & deliverables between GEA vendors, crew team members and our internal production team;
  • You will manage productional coordinator(s);
  • You will keep track of deadlines and budget targets for project delivery in all thinkable areas (creative/design, (technical) production, logistics, hospitality, tour personnel)
  • You negotiate and conclude agreements with major project suppliers and external general management and production management companies.
  • You contract and supervise external production managers and creative stakeholders in the producing process.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the producing of large-scale events and touring properties. Ideally, you have a proven track-record in a similar position for an entertainment company;
  • You have previous experience dealing with artists, technical production, design, logistics and staging for theater, concerts or similar ticketed events;
  • You demonstrate the ability to take direction and prioritize while juggling multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment;
  • You possess excellent relationship-building and influence skills. You are personable and possess outstanding communicative skills;
  • You are a self-starter who takes full responsibility and ownership of the tasks before them;
  • You are a good negotiator and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills;
  • You understand the culture that comes with the entertainment industries and possess a ‘fun’, friendly and professional demeanor;
  • You are proficient in excel, powerpoint, word and google apps for business;
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is not mandatory);
  • You are available full-time and on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week.
