Jobco Support is looking for her exclusive employer, Satis&Fy at Hilversum for a Managing Director. This is being a fulltime role.

The Managing Director reports directly to the CEO. Despite the cross disciplinary company structure, you are responsible for the revenue and succes of the assigned branche. You are also part of the European Management Team, tasted with the company strategy development and conversion.

Their History:

Founded shortly after the founding of Satis&Fy AG in Germany in 1993, in 1998 Satis&Fy BV opened an office in Amstelhoek, to provide closer proximity to some key clients, Nike Europe being the biggest at the time. For a long time, the office served as a front-office for Satis&Fy om Karben, near Frankfurt.
During the economical rise of the second decade of the 21st century, Hilversum expanded its portfolio and became an independent office with a reputation of its own. Nevertheless Satis&Fy BV is an integral part of the European Satis&Fy structure, in which teams operate as one independent location.

Their goals:

The current strategy, after the pandemic, is to act more intently as a holistic service provider for the event industry and to further expand their strong position. They want to broaden the "advice at eye level" formulated in the vision and adjust it accordingly to match their different customer groups.
Account Management is becoming the central tool for customer loyalty. They want to further distinguish their competencies in the various areas and formats of the event industry in order to further support and gradually expand the key aspect which is quality leadership. Satis&Fy believes in the potential of the Dutch market and wants to further expand its services and reputation in the Netherlands.

With over 400 employees at nine international locations in Europe and the USA and more than 3000 locally and internationally implemented corporate events, concerts, streaming events, open-air festivals, trade fair appearances and exhibitions per year, they are one of the most powerful companies in the event industry. They are also part of the international renowned Live Matters group.

This Leading role as Managing Director of this growing branche has a diverse pallet of responsibilities. Business Development in the Dutch market will be the most important focus.

  • You know how to increase the Satis&Fy brand awareness and reputation and easily connect with both interesting prospects, as well as existing relations
  • You monitor the team results and the branch development and report the results to the CFO.
  • You align the local strategy to the corporate strategy, which you also develop together with the other Managing directors and Head Departments.
  • Your monitor, secure and further develop the Satis&Fy quality standards.

The current size of the Dutch branch still implies also operatively directing the diverse team in the Hilversum office, that currently consists of 14 employees. You have no problem delegating your expertise, while you develop the team quantitatively and qualitatively.
You stay connected with the corporate Finance, HR, IT, Marketing and Purchase departments, to ensure the support from your team and client need. You do not hesitate to bring in your personal vision to their business.

  • The role of Managing Director needs an autonomous, charismatic, decisive, goal oriented, modern leader, who knows the Dutch market and event branche culture.
  • The ambition of expanding business in the Netherlands is backed up with a long-term vision, that connects with the high-quality and long-term relations, that Satis&Fy is renowned for.
  • You completed an MBA or a comparable study in Business Management plus own several years of verifiable experience in business development and team management, preferably in the live communication industry.
  • You possess a strong team spirit coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset. You are an inspirational manager and know how to motivate and coach your team members towards outstanding performance.
  • You have been around in the events industry and gained sufficient knowledge of project management and client expectations.
  • You know how to develop and maintain a relations network, alliances and coalitions within the outside of the organisation and to use them in order to obtain information, support and cooperation.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English and preferable German.
